About the Speakers


Shannon Lantzy is focused on getting healthcare market innovation - getting solutions faster, better, cheaper, and with more delight along the way. Specifically, we're aiming to accelerate great tech for medtech through the FDA Medical Device Development Tool Qualification program. Dr. Lantzy has spent 20+ years consulting in R&D for NASA, FDA, and medical device manufacturers. Her Ph.D. research and academic publications center around the economics of information asymmetry, behavioral economics, and consumer decision-making under uncertainty. 


Oleg Yusim is the Chief Product Security Officer at Illumina. He has started product security programs from the ground up, knows how to speak the language of regulators, software developers, and executives, and is a community educator in practical cybersecurity solutions for medical device manufacturers.
